Identity · Apparel · Production

A beer-league team with main-character energy.

What started as a team joke became a fully produced uniform world. I designed three directions for Track Suit Mafia—black tracksuits, white tracksuits, and an intentionally absurd “skins” kit—then helped carry the ideas all the way from artwork to the ice.

Role

Creative direction + apparel design

Scope

Identity, three uniform systems, production, championship apparel

Audience

The team, the opponents, and anyone watching

Creative rule

If it made the room laugh, push it further

The opportunity

Make beer-league hockey impossible to ignore.

This was creativity for the pure fun of it—but the execution still had to be serious. Every direction needed to feel like Track Suit Mafia, work as a full hockey kit, survive production, and look even better when the whole team stepped onto the ice together.

01 · The uniform world

Three ways
to show up.

The looks share one attitude but never repeat the same joke. Each direction became its own character inside the larger team identity.

Black Tracksuit

The original villain look

A dark, graphic foundation that made the team identity feel more like a crew than a conventional beer-league club.

02

White Tracksuit

The clean alternate

A bright, recognizable kit that carried the joke onto the ice while still reading clearly as a complete team uniform.

Skins

The escalation

Hair, jewelry, a fake tank top, tattoos, and stains turned the body itself into the uniform—and pushed the idea exactly far enough.

02 · From idea to production

The joke was in
the details.

The skins kit became a complete production system: mapped hair texture, jewelry, watch, tattoos, stains, tank-top structure, player names and numbers, shorts, and socks. The more specific it became, the better the idea worked.

03 · In the wild

It still had to
work on the ice.

The final uniforms held together in motion and became stronger as a group. Locker-room details, action shots, and full-team photos all carried the same unmistakable personality.

04 · The victory lap

Win the tournament.
Print the shirt.

After the team won, the identity got one more extension: a championship T-shirt designed for fun and handed out to celebrate the result. The piece turned a team moment into one more artifact from the world we had built together.
