Turn a shipping container into a brand experience.

For a full Park-9 takeover near Fenway Park, I worked with the team on the ground to translate The Farmer's Dog brand into a compact canine photo booth, environmental graphics, custom bandannas, and an interactive dog-held postcard.

Photo booth, signage, wraps, banners, bandannas + postcard

Materials

Gatorboard, foam core, vinyl, nylon + artificial turf

Setting

A Park-9 brand takeover outside Fenway Park

The challenge

A small, rough space needed to feel clean and elevated.

The existing shipping container was functional, not photogenic. The activation needed to create a consistent Farmer's Dog world in a tight footprint while standing up to installation realities, visitor traffic, and a live outdoor event. Field insight shaped what could be fabricated, installed, and finished cleanly.

01 · Build the room

Brand every
surface.

Foam-core and gatorboard panels reframed the interior and exterior, replacing the visual noise of the container with one intentional environment. Vinyl, nylon, turf, graphic props, and a custom photo setup carried the system through every guest-facing angle.

02 · Solve the corner

The last six inches made the whole room work.

The brand team was concerned about the abrupt seams where the wall panels met. I designed a six-inch vertical stringer with angled cuts along both edges. It sat flush between the adjoining panels, converting each hard 90-degree corner into a smooth 45-degree transition.

That small fabrication decision eliminated awkward caps and visible breaks, helping the photo booth read as one seamless brand environment instead of a shipping container covered in temporary graphics.

03 · Extend the moment

Designed to leave
with the dog.

The activation moved beyond the walls. We designed the bandannas in-house and produced them overseas, while the postcard became both a playful photo prop and a direct response piece—something a dog could literally carry through the event.
